Making music fun in east anglia

It is with great sadness that we mark the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
Martlesham Brass has always held her in great esteem and we will miss her dedication and constant care for us.
We have followed her example of making our organisation open and welcoming to all.

We look to the future when we can celebrate her life and that of our new sovereign, King Charles III.

12th May, 2004 - Norwich Contest 9th May 2004

Martlesham Brass completed their spring contesting season with a triumphant haul of silverware at the East Anglian Brass Bands Association (EABBA) Spring festival on 9th May 2004.
All four Bands entered came no lower than second place! and the Intermediate Band won their section, meaning some hard earned silverware for all the bands! Contesting is a particularly hard, stressful and challenging time for everyone involved, but the experience is really made worthwhile for all by this sort of success.
Contesting always benefits the overall playing of every band a great deal, and this year should leave the bands in great stead for their hectic summer schedule, seeing them out performing just about every week throughout June and July.
Winning trophies at Contests is only possible due to the hard work and commitment of every member of the Band - the Bandleaders would like to thank every member and parent involved in Martlesham Brass for all their hard work over the last few months.
