Making music fun in east anglia

It is with great sadness that we mark the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
Martlesham Brass has always held her in great esteem and we will miss her dedication and constant care for us.
We have followed her example of making our organisation open and welcoming to all.

We look to the future when we can celebrate her life and that of our new sovereign, King Charles III.

Martlesham Brass
'Making Music Fun in East Anglia'

Everyone will be very welcome at our Spring Concert on Saturday 12th May at St Michaelâs Church, Martlesham Heath starting at 7pm. Tickets are £2.50 (children 11 and under free) from either 07802 868924 or order online at www.martleshambrass.co.uk All our bands will be performing, from the beginner group to our main band. We are delighted to be taking part in âBrass The Batonâ, the only London 2012 Cultural Olympiad project designed specifically for Brass Bands. The project provides a unique opportunity for brass band musicians, and conductors of all ages and abilities, to link up and participate in a huge relay race involving 5 conductorâs batons and a unique new music commission from Paul Lovatt-Cooper entitled âGoing The Distanceâ. This will be an exciting addition to our concert programme.
The Band Summer Fayre is on Saturday 23rd June at St Michaelâs Church Centre, Martlesham Heath. It starts at 1.00pm, there will be a BBQ and cake stall and the Grand Draw first prize is £100!
Our band welcomes new players young and old, with or without experience. Our aim is to encourage anyone who feels they would like to play in a brass band to come and have a go! If you would like to join us, or if you already play or have previously played a brass instrument and feel that you would like to come along and meet us, please contact us via the website or use the contact details below.
