Making music fun in east anglia

It is with great sadness that we mark the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
Martlesham Brass has always held her in great esteem and we will miss her dedication and constant care for us.
We have followed her example of making our organisation open and welcoming to all.

We look to the future when we can celebrate her life and that of our new sovereign, King Charles III.

Martlesham Brass
'Making Music Fun in East Anglia'

We had a very successful Christmas carolling season â" thank you to everyone who generously dropped pennies and pounds into our buckets! The grand total was £1683.08 which means we can present cheques for £561.03 to each of the following local charities â" the Teenage Cancer Trust, Out & About (helping disabled children and young people to access everyday leisure activities in Eastern England) and EACH (the East Anglia Children's Hospice).
Please remember to get your tickets NOW for our concert with David Thornton (solo euphonium player with the world famous Brighouse and Rastrick Band) on Saturday 25th February, starting at 7pm at St Michaelâs Church Centre, Martlesham Heath. Tickets are £3.50 available from 07802 868924 or by visiting our website www.martleshambrass.co.uk. David is regarded as one of the foremost euphonium players and teachers of his generation and has a global reputation. His work as a soloist, conductor and educator is renowned throughout the brass playing world and we are also looking forward to learning as much as we can at the workshop he is running for us during the day.
Our band welcomes new players young and old, with or without experience. Our aim is to encourage anyone who feels they would like to play in a brass band to come and have a go! If you would like to join us, or if you already play or have previously played a brass instrument and feel that you would like to come along and meet us, please contact us via the website or use the contact details below.
