It is with great sadness that we mark the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
Martlesham Brass has always held her in great esteem and we will miss her dedication and constant care for us.
We have followed her example of making our organisation open and welcoming to all.

We look to the future when we can celebrate her life and that of our new sovereign, King Charles III.

'Making Music Fun in East Anglia'

Our 14th Birthday concert is on Saturday 2nd October at St Michaelâ��s Church Centre, Martlesham Heath starting at 7pm. Tickets are £2.50 (children 11 and under free) from 07802 868924 or on the door. This concert includes the Bandleadersâ�� awards to players who have improved the most over the year and there may well be a rendition of Happy Birthday included in the programme! Also this month on Saturday 23rd at 7pm, our main band will be in concert at Waldringfield Baptist Church as part of the â��Oxjamâ�� music festival. Admission is free and there will be a retiring collection for Oxfam.
Our Preliminary Band will showcase their talents at â��Tea and Tunesâ�� on Saturday 6th November â�" this is held at St Michaelâ��s Church Centre and starts at 10am. Refreshments are available all morning â�" please come along and support the Preliminary players. Two other advance notices to put in your diaries â�" Coffee and Carols on Saturday 4th December and our Christmas concert on Saturday 18th December!
Our band welcomes new players young and old, with or without experience. Our aim is to encourage anyone who feels they would like to play in a brass band to come and have a go! If you would like to join us, or if you already play or have previously played a brass instrument and feel that you would like to come along and meet us, please contact us via the website or use the contact details below.
