'Making Music Fun in East Anglia'
After the August break we enjoyed performing at two events in September â�" Sutton Fayre and the Martlesham Heath Aviation Society Open Day. Our 13th Birthday concert is on Saturday 3rd October at the Kesgrave Community Centre starting at 7pm. Tickets are £2.50 (children 11 and under free) and will be available on the door,or from Chris Beale on 07802 868924. This concert includes the Bandleadersâ�� awards to players who have improved the most over the year and there may well be a rendition of Happy Birthday included in the programme!
Also, remember Saturday 7th November when our Preliminary Band showcase their talents at â��Tea and Tunesâ�� â�" this is held at St Michaelâ��s Church Centre and starts at 10am. Refreshments are available all morning â�" please come along and support the new line-up of Preliminary players. Two other advance notices to put in your diaries â�" Coffee and Carols on Saturday 5th December and our Christmas concert on Saturday 12th December!
Our band welcomes new players young and old, with or without experience. Our aim is to encourage anyone who feels they would like to play in a brass band to come and have a go! If you would like to join us, or if you already play or have previously played a brass instrument and feel that you would like to come along and meet us, please contact us via the website or use the contact details below.
