Making music fun in east anglia

It is with great sadness that we mark the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
Martlesham Brass has always held her in great esteem and we will miss her dedication and constant care for us.
We have followed her example of making our organisation open and welcoming to all.

We look to the future when we can celebrate her life and that of our new sovereign, King Charles III.

'Making Music Fun in East Anglia'

We are really looking forward to our 12th Birthday concert on Saturday 4th October. It will be held at the Kesgrave Community Centre at 7pm (tickets £2.50 from Chris Beale 07802 868924) and it will be a chance for all the bands to play some of their favourite pieces. The bandleaders have been busy deciding on all the special awards for our outstanding players â" results next month! On Saturday 18th October we are holding a Quiz Night at Beacon Hill School (Blacktiles Lane) starting at 7pm promptly. Tickets are £2.50, available from [email protected]. Teams will have a maximum of six people and the price includes nibbles and snacks on tables, please bring your own drinks. Lastly, an early reminder of the date for Tea and Tunes featuring our Preliminary and Beginner Bands on the morning of Saturday 8th November.

Our band welcomes new players young and old, with or without experience. Our aim is to encourage anyone who feels they would like to play in a brass band to come and have a go! If you would like to join us, or if you already play or have previously played a brass instrument and feel that you would like to come along and meet us, please contact us via the website or use the contact details below.
