BAND PERSON OF THE YEAR
It's Christmas (nearly)
We have now agreed the program for our events over the coming Christmas period; details are on the reverse of this newsletter. As well as players we would encourage collectors and we will be asking for volunteers in the coming weeks.
We are holding a Beetle Drive on the 19th November at St Michael's tickets, priced at £2.50 a head including nibbles are now available on the front desk at Friday practice or from Chris Beale. Fun for all the family and a special prize for anyone (except Paul B) who dresses up like a beetle.
Our lucky winners are listed below;
We now have three numbers available if anyone would like to be associated with #9, #14 or#33 please see Jayne who will be pleased to sign you up.
As the days grow longer, so do the band members! We will be pulling out the sweat shirts and winter clothing soon for real, so please have a look through your uniform and be sure that what you have is in good order and fits properly. If not, then see Simon or add an entry to the uniform book on Friday night.
As mentioned last month, our President Bill Bell is still in hospital following his recent fall. Several members of the band have been to see him and he passes us all his good wishes.
I am sure that you will join me in wishing Bill a speedy and successful recovery.
