Making music fun in east anglia

It is with great sadness that we mark the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
Martlesham Brass has always held her in great esteem and we will miss her dedication and constant care for us.
We have followed her example of making our organisation open and welcoming to all.

We look to the future when we can celebrate her life and that of our new sovereign, King Charles III.

St Georges Day Parade

Thanks to all that participated in the St Georgeâs Day Parade â" it was a great success. We believe that everyone now has a lyre for their instrument. If you do not, and require one, please speak to your bandleader.

Parent Rep Required

The main committee meets once per month to discuss band matters. Ideally, we require two parent representatives to contribute to the meeting. Currently we only have one, so if anyone is interested, please speak to our Chairman (Simon Chalklen). Thanks.

Lifts to Events

If you require a lift to an event, normally we can help to arrange something. If you can give a couple of weeks notice that will help, as last minute requests can cause problems.

Framlingham Gala

On Sunday 24th May the Intermediate Band will be appearing at the Framlingham Gala, and we are hoping that the weather will be kind this year so that the audience can enjoy their strawberries and cream in the sunshine!
