Cake Stall and Cake Baking Competition

After the great success of the cake baking competition last year we are inviting you to "go creative" and produce a great cake for the competition.
Cakes to sell on the cake stall would also be greatly appreciated.

Grand Draw

Each family will soon receive some grand draw tickets to sell for the band, please make every effort to sell as many as you can.

Weather not looking good?

Fear not, the event will still go ahead so please still come

We will need your help!!

During the course of the afternoon we would really appreciate some of your time to help us supervise the stalls. Additional assistance is crucial as many of the fundraising committee will be performing at some point during the afternoon! If you can help please email [email protected] or look out for the sheet to complete at band practice over the next few weeks.

And last but not least ... The chance to chill out in the sun (fingers crossed!) and listen to all of the bands that make Martlesham Brass.

Keeping your child safe

Parents who cannot accompany children on band events or engagements should ensure that they have arranged for an adult (from the band) to be responsible for their child and advise bandleaders accordingly. It should not be assumed by parents that bandleaders can be responsible for unaccompanied children.

Will Meadows

Will recently left the Intermediate Band to focus his attentions on the triathlon. If you wish to keep abreast of what he's up to, please visit his website @
