Constitutional Amendment for CRB checks
The wording agreed at our recent committee meeting for the proposed constitutional amendment was as follows:
"All trustees will be required to complete a CRB disclosure application within one month of appointment. Bandleaders and assistant bandleaders must have a successfully completed CRB return in place prior to commencing their leadership role. The Main Committee will be responsible for ensuring CRB disclosures are kept up to date."
It will sit under Clause W - Child Protection and Equal Opportunities, in the Constitution. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to speak to a committee member.
